Town Centre Patrol

Good Morning all,

Yesterday during our shifts, PCSO 72838 Davies, PC 05086 Maestro and one student officer attended an address on the town centre with housing standards team with Rochdale Council, where an illegal HMO was discovered. The persons found within the property were offered the help and support available to them, and the property was served with an emergency prohibition notice, effectively closing the property immediately, particularly due to the condition it was in, Rochdale Council will now take lead regarding this.

Officers also responded to reports of an assault on the town centre where one male was detained and dealt with appropriately. The investigation for this incident is still ongoing.

A community protection warning (CPW) was also issued to a male who has persistently been causing issues on the Town Centre. This warning is the first stage, if the male continues to cause problems, we look at issuing a community protection notice (CPN).

One vehicle was also stopped yesterday and given advice regarding getting brake lights fixed.
